Identium® Scan Light

Identium® Scan represents the interface between standard impression taking and digital information processing in the CAD/CAM workflow.
Identium® Scan provides the dental practice with an introduction to the digital world without major change or investment. Easy with the use of the new impression material Identium® Scan in the required viscosity, which has been scan optimized to the market-leading, red-light technology.

Identium® Scan has been optimized for optical scanning in the CAD/CAM process (digitization) and guarantees impressions that provide the best scan results (without the use of scan powder).

Identium® Scan Light is a low viscosity, addition-curing, elastomeric impression material based on vinylsiloxanether® with a high final hardness. It has been specially developed for the one-step impression technique (ideal for the double-mix technique, in combination with the high viscosity Identium® Scan Heavy, for impressions for crowns/bridges, inlays/onlays and veneers, for reline impressions as well as removable restoration impressions).

Based on the newly developed material vinylsiloxanether® Identium® Scan Light provides the best of two worlds: all the advantages of polyether materials coupled with those of A-silicones. Take advantage of the excellent flowability, which in combination with exceptional hydrophilicity (lowest achievable contact angle of less than 10° after 1 second) ensures optimal flow behavior in a moist environment, even in the narrowest of sulcus crevices.

The high elastic properties of Identium® ensure dimensionally accurate recovery and easy removal. Identium® is also odorless and has a neutral taste.

We supply Identium® Scan Light in the familiar cartridge system (50 ml, 1:1) for very easy handling in the practice.
