The key factor that influences the precision of an impression is the time at which hydrophilicity develops. Improved wetting of the moist surface of the dentine during the initial application phase increases the precision of the impression. Furthermore, it is critical that this initial hydrophilicity is retained throughout the entire working time. The result? Panasil® initial contact delivers precisely detailed impressions even on surfaces with residual moisture.
